A furry weatherman, quite stout,

Pops out his head, no room for doubt.

Sees his shadow, gives a squeak,

Six more weeks of winter's bleak!

Or maybe not, who really knows?

He's just a groundhog, sleepy and slow,

Oblivious to all the fuss,

Just dreams of dandelions, plump and luscious.

He couldn't care less 'bout sun or snow,

Just wants a nap, then it's time to go.
